1. Check-in

Get a patient number and hold on to it, and don't forget to bring your photo id.

You will be seen by a triage nurse who will determine what tests need to be ordered.

If needed, you will have blood drawn for various tests and be offered hepatitis vaccinations.

  2. Exam

An exam typically takes 30-60 minutes.

Your clinician will ask a number of questions to get a better idea of what tests you might need and how we can assist you. The more we understand about you, the better we can help you.

We routinely test for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis and HIV. Other tests may be done as needed.

  3. Results & Treatment

A diagnosis can often be made at the time of exam.

    You may receive medication.

If instructed, call the clinic or use our online results service to get the results of your visit. Have your clinic number, password and date of your visit ready.

If you have a positive test result and did not receive medication at the time of visit, you will need to return to the clinic for treatment.
